Why choose Carol?
My interest in acupuncture was initially triggered after a decade of Qi gong practice and successful acupuncture treatments. The focus I learned in Qi gong has influenced my development as a practitioner. I focus my attention on listening and collaborating with my clients to define and develop the approach and focus of care. Beyond making connections to the holistic principles and practice of acupuncture and the rigour of western medicine, I am interested in mindful, client/practitioner relationships.
An acupuncturist at St Christopher’s Hospice, I run the seated acupuncture group for out-patients with the Head of the Complementary Therapies Department. I also run a private clinic at Neal’s Yard Remedies Therapy Rooms in Clapham, (UK) three times a week.

"I really liked the time we took at the beginning to talk about my situation. It made me feel confident the session would be fit-for-purpose. I always felt really great and relaxed too, like a lot of blockages had been relieved. Carol's kind way of manipulating the needles was gentle but strong enough to work in depth where I was blocked."
Committed to social change, I am an active volunteer and have offered support to several organisations including the University of Westminster’s Polyclinic, and St Joseph's Hospice in Newham - where I provided acupuncture and TuiNa for palliative care and outpatient groups.
In the wider community, I co-founded the integrated Health Clinic ‘BeWell London’ and participated in the Creating Spaces for Well-being Initiative at the Maudsley NHS Trust. My current activities include facilitating seminars with primary school children for the Inspiring the Future Project.
I am a keen traveller and have journeyed to many countries over the years. I combined my love of travel, acupuncture and volunteering when I assisted at the Ananda Nagar Acupuncture Institute in West Bengal, India.
